EPISODE SUMMARY

A few days ago while in full time dad-mode, I was sitting and watching Disney/Pixar’s movie Cars. If you’ve never seen it, it’s about a an anthropomorphized racecar named Lightning McQueen gets mixed up and lost in a forgotten town in the middle of the American mid-west on his way to THE BIG RACE. During his stay there he learns valuable lessons on hard work, friendship, humility, and teamwork, family.

While I was watching the movie I couldn’t help but notice the parallels to my early journey of running a business and that which I see regularly talking with photographers.

In this episode, I chat through a synopsis of the movie (spoiler alerts!) and relate it to how so many photographers approach business: unbalanced, unfocused, and trying to do it all themselves.
